For Smoother Video with Panasonic network cameras

The Camera settings, Scene lighting and upload bandwidth (available to the camera) are all important factors to get smooth video from the Panasonic cameras.

In addition, the sensors on the newer cameras (e.g. the BB-HCM581) react to changing scenes faster. This further helps in giving higher frame rates and smoother videos.

When possible, get the newer Panasonic cameras – BB-HCM581, BL-C140, BL-C101 etc.

The newer Panasonic IP cameras – BL-C101, BL-C121, BL-C140, BL-C160 and BB-HCM547 – offer better features at lower prices.

These cameras are available at Amazon and other retailers. The lead time for BL-C101 still is long on some websites (e.g. Amazon), but, the other cameras are readily available. To get these cameras, search at Amazon with a “A” suffix e.g. “Panasonic BL-C101A” . A Google search will show price & availability at other retailers and dealers.
