With a 0.09 lux rating, the BB-HCM581 can show the scene even in low light conditions as shown at the links above and is used for Video Security applications.

If you are in a situation where the camera configuration information has been provided by the IT staff (public IP address, port number, subnet mask, gateway address, DNS server address) but access to the local router is not available for setting up the camera, the camera can still be configured using just a PC as shown here.
Once the camera is configured, it will work on the network.
